SG360’s latest acquisition adds 200 employees and gives it a presence in two new markets: Florida and Virginia.
The Lenexa-based facility services company specializes in janitorial, facilities management, restoration services and inventory management. It employs 226 people in the Kansas City area.
The acquisition of Revolent Solutions Group in Tampa, Fla., adds new services, including painting, high-altitude window cleaning, waterproofing, caulking and other building maintenance services.
“As we looked to expand to the Southeast, the opportunity with Revolent presented a perfect fit,” SG360 CEO David Harvey said in a release. “We quickly recognized how their strong customer base, tenured employees and similar company values would positively benefit everyone throughout our organization.”
With the addition of RSG, SG360’s head count has grown to 1,200 employees. Moving forward, RSG President Bryson Raver will become SG360’s executive vice president of strategic development.
“This really was an advancement for our employees and simultaneously enhanced our technology platform, from which our clients are already benefiting,” Raver said in the release. “And by combining our two entities, we have a better opportunity to not only grow organically but to continue to deploy our acquisition strategy to current and new markets across the Midwest and Southeast.”
SG360 was founded more than 25 years ago, and one of its core industries is special-use facilities, such as the Kauffman Center for Performing Arts, Lyric Opera of Kansas City and Overland Park’s Scheels. One of its differentiators is its proprietary cleaning system, which offers clients a “360-degree, full-circle cleaning experience.”
In April 2016, SG360’s previous Arkansas-based owner sold the company to SC Realty Services Inc. of Lenexa, according to a press release from a Chicago-area investment bank.
