Lenexa, Kan. – In a competitive and crowded industry, one local company employs four professionals who have obtained the prestigious Registered Building Service Manager certification. The RBSM designation is offered by the Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI), a worldwide network of more than 1,000 member companies that provide cleaning, facility maintenance, security, landscaping and other related services to building owners and managers.

The four-step process involves a thorough examination, and is open only to current building service managers or supervisors of a building service contracting firm. Applicants must also pledge to adhere to the BSCAI Code of Ethics and must have been in the building service contracting field for a minimum of one year.
